The Birthplace of Coffee

The origins of global coffee growing can be traced to Africa.  Ethiopia is the home of the Arabica tree, so it should be no surprise that the country is one of the leaders when it comes to high-quality coffee beans. Coffees from Ethiopia can vary greatly, not only because of the massive variety of the coffees grown there, but how they’re processed as well. The difference between “natural” and “washed” coffees is great; natural coffees can be almost syrupy sweet and cherry-flavored, while washed coffees are lighter on the palate, with jasmine or lemongrass flavors.

    The Freesmeyer’s

This is our family’s new Saturday morning coffee! The flavor is wonderfully smooth and medium-bodied with plenty of caffeine to start your morning. The very faint citrus notes give a pleasant, crisp finish to every sip with a slightly chocolaty aroma on the front. There’s no question to the quality of the roast and the effort put into making every cup as delicious as the first time it’s tasted. A very pleasant experience and one we’re looking forward to repeating!
